Please note that all competitors have to be 18 years of age or older when competing in this qualifier.

This is a PC competition as is the whole Blast circuit.

The BLAST R6 Global Rulebook applies to this tournament.

Quick Rules

Format

• This tournament is played as a Single Elimination tournament.
• The tournament is played as BO1 until the Round of 8 where it swaps to BO3 for the following rounds.
• Qualifying in this event leads to the SEA Qualifier Playoffs, for a chance to qualify into the Asia Closed League

Schedule

• This tournament is played out during March 9th / 10th 2024.

Server Selection

• Matches are to be played on South East Asia by default. If both teams agree, they may play instead on UAE North. In the case of a disagreement, the server with the best average match ping should be used.

• Admins reserve the right to select the server for play to ensure the best competitive environment for the match if an agreement cannot be reached.

Rehosts

Preparation Phase

• Before the start of the Preparation Phase
• Any technical issues including the game and server, Player disconnect and or authorized software or hardware problems.

Action Phase

• Up to the first thirty (30) seconds of the Action Phase and if no damage has been taken by any Player.
• Observer-related issues.
• Player unable to control or move Operator.
• Game mechanic issues including shooting, reloading, movement, gadgets, or equipment.

Cosmetics

During BLAST R6 competitions’ official matches, Players can only use the battle dress uniforms and headgears listed below. All others battle dress uniforms and headgears are banned from use in competitive play:

• Operator’s default skins
• Pro League skins (gold sets)
• Pro R6Share teams branded cosmetic
• Six Major branded cosmetics
• Six Invitational branded cosmetics
• Esports Programs cosmetics

Anti-Cheat

The following applications are required for participation in the Open Qualifiers and any activity that restricts, prohibits or alters their use are expressly forbidden:

• BattlEye
• MOnitor System Status (MOSS) download here.
• The MOSS must have the Rainbow Six Siege parameter, to do so you can follow these steps: "File" → "Parameters" → "Rainbow Six"
• Please keep MOSS files created, unaltered, stored in your computer for the next 14 days, as you may be required to hand those files for verification at any point during and after this tournament.

Substitution

Substitution in a registered roster is only allowed between matches. No substitution will be allowed between maps in the case of BO3s.
