Come test your might in the new and improved Safari Cup 2.0! Victory Road invites you to take part in this Great League Tournament designed to give even the strongest of trainers a run for their money! Signups will be available worldwide* and will be through Challenger Mode.

This meta allows only the following types to be used with no limit on how many of each type allowed. They are; Water | Ground | Rock | Normal | Bug | Grass | Poison | Flying

This meta also involves Restricted picks, meaning you can only choose 2 of the following pokemon per team of 6, but will be restricted to slots 1 and 2. The following rule applies: Slot 1: Steelix, Swampert, Swampert (Shadow), Bastiodon, Vigoroth, Stunfisk (Galarian) Slot 2: Azumarill, Skarmory, Skarmory (Shadow), Altaria, Abomasnow, Abomasnow (Shadow), Dragalge

Trainers must submit their teams via google form before the tournament begins to be eligible for entry. Players will all have their teams checked to make sure they’re legal, and will be asked to change their teams if they do not match the qualifications set before.

Each player will play a best 2 out of 3 set for their rounds. Once a player has reached a score of 2, they can accept victory over their opponent.

Rematches: If a player experiences GAME CHANGING LAG during their gameplay, they can appeal a loss from a staff member before they begin their next game. If a staff member rules that the match will be replayed, then each player will use the previously used team to redo that game. All decisions from staff are final.

Prizes: 1st Place will receive $400 USD as well as a personalized E-Sports Jersey with their trainer name, as well as a VIP Pass for weekend access at GameArena during Pokemon Go Nationals. 2nd Place will receive $300 USD, 3rd Place will receive $200 USD, and 4th Place will receive $100.

• Players will not be able to compete if they reside in the following locations: Balkans, Belarus, Brazil, Burma, China, Cote D'ivoire (Ivory Coast), Crimea, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Liberia, North Korea, Pakistan, Quebec, Russia, Sudan, Syria, Turkey, Zimbabwe and where prohibited by law.
