PlayPalace Tournament - Standard Rules

To ensure a fair, enjoyable, and competitive experience for all participants, the following standard rules must be adhered to during the tournament:

1. Fair Play

• No Cheating: Any form of cheating, including the use of third-party programs, hacks, or exploits, will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament.
• Respect the Game: All actions and behaviors must align with the spirit of fair competition. Any attempt to manipulate, disrupt, or sabotage the game experience will not be tolerated.

2. Conduct

• Respect for All Participants: Treat fellow players, referees, and organizers with respect. Discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate language will result in penalties.
• Team Communication: Communication between teammates must be constructive and respectful at all times.
• No Toxic Behavior: Harassment, trolling, griefing, or any behavior intended to disrupt the game or cause distress to others is strictly prohibited.

3. Match Rules

• No Pausing Without Permission: Only the tournament organizer or referee can authorize a pause during a match. Unauthorized pauses will be penalized.
• AFK or Disconnection: If a player disconnects, the match will proceed until the team can’t continue playing due to the missing player. A reconnect period may be allowed, as determined by the referee.
• In-Game Exploits: Abusing game mechanics or unintended exploits is prohibited. If a player or team is found exploiting game bugs, they may be disqualified.

4. Team Rules

• Team Composition: Each team must consist of 5 players. Substitutes may be allowed only under the supervision of tournament organizers, and substitutions must be made before the match begins.
• Match Integrity: Once a match begins, no player substitutions are allowed unless a player is unable to continue due to technical difficulties or extenuating circumstances, as determined by the tournament organizers.

5. Streaming & Broadcasting

• No Stream Sniping: Players are prohibited from watching the live stream of their opponents during the tournament to gain an unfair advantage. This includes using third-party tools or methods to view opponents’ actions.
• Streaming Etiquette: If you are streaming your participation, ensure you follow all applicable broadcasting guidelines set by the tournament organizers. Content must remain within the bounds of good taste and respect for the community.

6. Penalties & Disqualification

• Violation of Rules: Any player or team found violating these rules will face penalties, including but not limited to game forfeits, disqualification from the tournament, or permanent bans from future events.
• Appeals Process: Teams or players who feel they have been unfairly penalized can submit an appeal to the tournament organizers, who will review the case and make a final decision.

7. Miscellaneous

• Tournament Organizer's Discretion: The tournament organizers reserve the right to modify, add, or remove rules at any time to ensure a fair and competitive environment. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.
• Technical Issues: In case of technical issues, including server problems or game crashes, the tournament organizers will determine the appropriate course of action on a case-by-case basis.
