Welcome to the European PGL Major Open Qualifier #4 - BRACKET A.

You will have to install it and have it running and start CS2 through it to be able to join the server.

Quick Rule Overview

CSTV

CSTV+ access will be open and can be found on each tournament match's lobby. Make sure you are logged in to a Challengermode account and you will be able to see a blue "CSTV info" link.

Format

• The qualifier is played as maximum 2x 1024-slot, single elimination brackets.
• All matches inside the tournament will be played as best-of-one (BO1) until top 8 where the tournament will have one round of best-of-three (BO3) for qualification. The tournament then resumes to BO1 for seeding purposes.
• The qualifier is played with the active duty map pool.
• If the total checked-in team total is higher than 1024, the BO3 qualification matches get pushed to each bracket’s semifinal.
• If the total checked-in team total is lower than 1024, the bracket is played out per the originally announced format as 1x 1024 bracket over 2 days.

Schedule

• The schedule has been adjusted to make the tournament into a three-day qualifier.
• Check in starts on Saturday, January 13 at 14:00 CET.
• Check-in closes on Sunday, January 14 at 16:00 CET.
• Bracket A starts play on Sunday, January 14 at 17:00 CET.
• Bracket B starts play on Monday, January 15 at 17:00 CET.
• Both brackets are played until the Round of 16.
• Both brackets resume Round of 16 on Tuesday, January 16 at 18:00 CET.

Veto

The veto order per the VALVE Major ruleset is:

• Coin toss to decide which team is higher seed

Best of 1

• The higher seed team chooses to be Team A or Team B
• Team A removes 2 maps
• Team B removes 3 maps
• Team A removes 1 map -Team B chooses starting side

Best of 3

• The higher seed team chooses to be Team A or Team B
• Team A removes 1 map
• Team B removes 1 map
• Team A picks the map 1
• Team B chooses starting side on map 1
• Team B picks map 2
• Team A chooses starting side on map 2
• Team B removes one map
• Team A removes one map
• Team B chooses starting side on map 3

Side Rules

• Participants must be at least 14 years old when playing in the tournament.
• Participants must not be VAC-banned. Any player who is VAC Banned on any of their accounts must be approved in writing by Valve in order to be eligible to participate in the event.
