NADCL Season 8 Main Event

The North American Dota Challengers League (NADCL) Season 8 Main Event is the pinnacle of NA Dota 2 semi-pro competition, featuring up to 8 franchise teams battling for at most $4,000 prize pool and a championship ring. Held from May 28th to May 30th, 2025, this double-elimination tournament showcases top talent drafted from the Players Combine.

Event Details

• Date: May 28th–30th, 2025
• Format:
  • Double-elimination bracket with 8 teams (scalable to 6 or 4).
  • Best-of-3 matches, with a best-of-5 Grand Final.
  • Approximately 14 matches, with 7 broadcasted on twitch.tv/Chompixgaming.
• Schedule: Double-elimination matches starting at 6:00pm EDT.
• Webcam Requirement: Players must share webcams during gameplay for transparency. Webcams are broadcasted on the official stream.
• Streaming Rules:
  • Players can stream their gameplay using the provided league stream asset.
  • Players who are streaming must have a 5-minute OBS delay.
  • Players streaming are still required to submit their camera feed to the admin, especially if their game is being broadcasted on the main stream (twitch.tv/Chompixgaming).
  • Team owners can stream their reaction using the main feed (twitch.tv/Chompixgaming).
  • Non-broadcasted matches have a 5-minute Dota TV delay and are free to cast.

Prize Pool

• Total: Up to $4,000 (maximum with 8 teams, winner takes all).
• Distribution:
  • Team Owner: Up to $1,000 (25%) + championship ring
  • Players: Up to $600 per player (75%, $3,000 total for the winning team)
