Please note that all competitors have to be 18 years of age or older when competing in this qualifier.

This is a PC competition as is the whole Blast circuit

The MAJOR QUALIFIERS Challengermode specific ruleset applies to this tournament.

Format

• This tournament is played as Single Elimination tournament
• The top 8 teams qualify to the Qualifiers Playoffs
• Teams that qualified in OQ#1 are locked for the remainder of the stage (and cannot participate in OQ#2)

Schedule

• This tournament is played out during August 23-24, 2024
• The official start time of the tournament is 6PM GST (GMT+4).

Quick Rules

• 1 tactical timeout of 45 seconds per team per map

• Some matches may get a community cast, this will be confirmed in your match chat section

• Stream delay: 180 seconds

• Any in-game issue that requires admin intervention needs to be brought in a Discord ticket immediately

• Any ticket opened on Discord related to rule breaching should be accompanied by tournament related evidence or will be disregarded by the admin team

• Matches will not be delayed for any reason except for force majeure cases (i.e. worldwide server issues) and at the discretion of the admin team

• You CANNOT play if you're not a region resident. If you're originally not from a MENA country, you request then evidence it to the admin team via a series of documents check. PLEASE CONTACT THE ADMIN TEAM IF YOU THINK THAT APPLIES TO YOU, any case where a request was not made to the admins PRIOR to the tournament will see the player PREVENTED FROM PLAYING/DISQUALIFIED

• Region hopping is strictly forbidden. If you've been allowed to play as MENA resident with the procedure above, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to play in any other region for the remainder of the same stage

Server Selection

• Matches are to be played on UAE North by default. If both teams agree, they may play instead on EU North. In the case of a disagreement, the server with the best average match ping should be used.

• Admins reserve the right to select the server for play to ensure the best competitive environment for the match if an agreement cannot be reached.

Rehosts

Preparation Phase

• Before the start of the Preparation Phase
• Any technical issues including the game and server, Player disconnect and or authorized software or hardware problems

Action Phase

• Up to the first thirty (30) seconds of the Action Phase and if no damage has been taken by any Player
• Observer-related issues
• Player unable to control or move Operator
• Game mechanic issues including shooting, reloading, movement, gadgets, or equipment

Cosmetics

During BLAST R6 competitions’ official matches, Players can only use the battle dress uniforms and headgears listed below. All others battle dress uniforms and headgears are banned from use in competitive play:

• Operator’s default skins
• Pro League skins (gold sets)
• Pro R6Share teams branded cosmetics
• Six Major branded cosmetics
• Six Invitational branded cosmetics
• Esports Programs cosmetics’

Using any battle dress uniforms and/or headgears that are not permitted will result in a warning for first offense and a round loss for any additional offenses. Weapon skins, weapon charms and operator background cards are not subject to any restriction.

Drone skins and operator gadget skins are all forbidden in competitive play. Players can only use the default drone and operator gadget skins.

Cosmetics Rule (drone skins, gadget skins, uniforms and headgears)

• 1st Offence: Warning
• 2nd Offence: Round loss
• 3rd Offence: Map loss

This will not be applied retroactively at the end of a map or a match, therefore this needs to be brought in a ticket immediately if an unallowed skin is observed.

Anti-Cheat

The following applications are required for participation in the Open Qualifiers and any activity that restricts, prohibits or alters their use are expressly forbidden:

• BattlEye
• Monitor System Status (MOSS) download here
• The MOSS must have the Rainbow Six Siege parameter, to do so you can follow these steps: "File" → "Parameters" → "Rainbow Six" and must be recording all matches
• Please keep MOSS files created, unaltered, and stored in your computer for the next 14 days, as you may be required to hand those files for verification at any point during and after this tournament (only on the admin team request)

Substitution

• No substitution will be allowed between or in ongoing maps except if both teams agree to it and can show the admin team such approval was given by both teams upon request

• Substitutions should be arranged before a match lobby starts, if you have any issue with it, please open a ticket on Discord BEFORE the "go to lobby" time is over or we cannot guarantee substitution will be approved
