  • Matches will be commented and broadcast by Community Casters; Admins/Observers themselves will communicate to teams in the lobby chat the observer name to add for the match before It starts
  • Teams cannot refuse to be cast but admins may cancel a cast that would delay a match beyond reasonable timeframe or not following the caster guidelines
  • 1 tactical timeout of 45 seconds per team per map
  • Stream delay (for players wishing to stream their POV): 180 seconds
  • Ping limit: 120
  • Any in-game issue that requires admin intervention needs to be brought in a Discord ticket immediately
  • Any ticket opened on Discord related to rule breaching should be accompanied by tournament related evidence. Protests made without picture or video evidence in relation to the match being protested may be rejected by the admin team
  • Matches will not be delayed for any reason except for force majeure cases (i.e. worldwide server issues or overlap with another Ubisoft official tournament) and at the discretion of the admin team

Roster Lock:

  • Rosters are limited to 5 players + 2 substitutes. Teams will have to choose from their social team what players to use (they need to have played the qualifiers in some capacity). Rosters will be locked upon the team being registered on the platform for the event

  • Deadline to register is September 12, 6PM (local event timezone, at the same time the queues open for Promise Division)

  • You will NOT be allowed to make changes between the Contenders League and Finals OUTSIDE of your 2 registered substitutes or your coach, if previously approved by the admin team to replace a player. Exceptions can only be made at the discretion of the admin team and for major emergencies (example: a participant broke their hand and has the hospital/doctor paperwork given us in evidence)

Server Selection

  • Players should agree to use the server that ensures the best competitive integrity for both of their teams, however, if an agreement cannot be reached, admins will pick one of the default server from the rulebook, at their discretion

Rehosts & TTO

  • 1 rehost per team per map. Rehosts are non-transferrable
  • 1 Tactical Timeout per team per map. TTOs are non-transferrable as they benefit both teams

RH in Preparation Phase

  • Before the start of the Preparation Phase

  • Any technical issues including the game and server, Player disconnect and or authorized software or hardware problems

  • Up to the first fifteen (15) seconds of the Preparation Phase

  • Any technical issues including the game and server, Player disconnect and or authorized software or hardware problems

  • Any technical issue encountered by a Community Observer or Caster

Any attempt to abuse the rehost procedure will be penalised with sanctions ranging from a round loss to a map or match forfeit Any attempt to abuse the rehost procedure by a Community Observer or Caster should be reported to the admin team immediately

This will not be applied retroactively at the end of a map or a match, therefore this needs to be brought with evidence in a ticket immediately if a rehost process abuse is observed

Cosmetics

During R6 Siege X competitions’ official matches, Players can only use the battle dress uniforms and headgears listed below:

  • Operator’s default skins
  • Pro R6Share teams branded cosmetics
  • Six Major branded cosmetics
  • Esports Programs cosmetics

All others battle dress uniforms and headgears are banned from use in competitive play

Drone skins and operator gadget skins are all forbidden in competitive play. Players can only use the default drone and operator gadget skins

Weapon skins, weapon charms and operator background cards are not subject to any restriction

Using any battle dress uniforms and/or headgears that are not permitted will result in:

  • 1st offense: Warning
  • 2nd offense: Round Loss
  • 3rd offense: Potential Map Loss

The offenses can only be confirmed by admins. Participants cannot count their own warning to their opponent as a verified offense.

This will not be applied retroactively at the end of a map or a match, therefore this needs to be brought with evidence in a ticket immediately if an unallowed skin is observed.

Anti-Cheat

The following applications are required for participation in the Open Qualifiers and any activity that restricts, prohibits or alters their use are expressly forbidden:

  • BattlEye
  • For Console players, admins may require a "hand cam" or any other "stream cam". Not complying for any reason will result in a penalty and a potential disqualification from the event
  • Monitor System Status (MOSS) download here for PC players only
  • MOSS must have the Rainbow Six Siege parameter, to do so you can follow these steps: "File" → "Parameters" → "Rainbow Six" and must be recording all matches
  • MOSS files upload may be made mandatory by the Admin team, which will point the procedure and timing required to upload the files. In any case, all teams should keep their MOSS files available for check/upload on admin request for the entire duration of the event, even if eliminated and until 30 days after the end of the competition.

MOSS NOT BEING UPLOADED OR BEING UPLOADED TOO LATE WILL LEAD TO AN ENTIRE TEAM DISQUALIFICATION!!

complementary information concerning MOSS can be found in the rulebook

Substitution

  • No substitution will be allowed between or in ongoing maps except if both teams agree to it and can show the admin team such approval was given by both teams upon request

  • Substitutions should be arranged before a match lobby starts, if you have any issue with it, please open a ticket on Discord BEFORE the "go to lobby" time is over or we cannot guarantee substitution will be approved
