Please note that all competitors have to be 18 years of age or older when competing in this qualifier.
The BLAST R6 Global Rulebook applies to this tournament.
The following Operator(s) is considered Quarantined and not available for play in this tournament: IQ. This decision is made due to an on-going bug that risks damaging competitive integrity and competition health.
Format
The EU Open Qualifiers will be divided into 3 online open qualifiers, connected by a point system. The open qualifiers will follow a Single Elimination Bracket with matches played in Bo1 until the round of 16. The following rounds will be played in Bo3.
At the end of each of the 3 open qualifiers, teams will be awarded points:
- Rank 1: 100 Points
- Rank 2: 75 Points
- Ranks 3-4: 50 Points
- Ranks 5-8: 25 Points
- Ranks 9-16: 15 Points
- Ranks 17-32: 10 Points
At the end of the 3rd open qualifiers, based on the cumulated number of points, the top 11 teams will qualify to the Qualifiers Playoffs.
Quick Rules
- 1 tactical timeout of 45 seconds per team per map
- Some matches may get a community cast, this will be confirmed in your match chat section
- Teams are allowed to refuse community cast, if so they need to notify it in the match chat
- Stream delay: 180 seconds
- Ping limit: 120
- You must maintain 3/5 of the same roster originally registered through all qualifiers. Any change made to your originally registered roster that does not comply with the 3/5 rule will reset your points to 0. Please refer to the Roster Lock & Change Controls section below for more info.
Schedule
- This tournament is played out on March 18 and 19, 2023.
Server Selection
- Admins reserve the right to select the server for play to ensure the best competitive environment for the match if an agreement cannot be reached.
Rehosts
1 rehost per team per map. Rehosts are non-transferrable.
Preparation Phase
- Before the start of the Preparation Phase
- Any technical issues, including the game and server, Player disconnect, and/or authorized software or hardware problems.
Action Phase
- Up to the first thirty (30) seconds of the Action Phase and if no damage has been taken by any Player.
- Observer-related issues.
- Player unable to control or move Operator.
- Game mechanic issues including shooting, reloading, movement, gadgets, or equipment.
Cosmetics
During BLAST R6 competitions’ official matches, Players can only use the battle dress uniforms and headgears listed below. All other battle dress uniforms and headgear are banned from use in competitive play:
- Operator’s default skins
- Pro League skins (gold sets)
- Pro teams branded cosmetics
- Esports Programs’ cosmetics
Cosmetics Rule (drone skins, gadget skins, uniforms and headgears)
- 1st Offence: Warning
- 2nd Offence: Round loss
- 3rd Offence: Map loss
This will not be applied retroactively at the end of a map or a match, therefore this needs to be brought in a ticket immediately if an unallowed skin is observed. Please also report quarantined operator use following the same principle.
Anti-Cheat
The following applications are required for participation in the Open Qualifiers and any activity that restricts, prohibits or alters their use are expressly forbidden:
- BattlEye
- Monitor System Status (MOSS) download here.
- The MOSS must have the Rainbow Six Siege parameter, to do so you can follow these steps: "File" → "Parameters" → "Rainbow Six"
- Please keep MOSS files created, unaltered, and stored in your computer for the next 14 days, as you may be required to hand those files for verification at any point during and after this tournament (only on the admin team request).
Roster Lock & Change Controls
All rosters must follow the 3/5 rule, meaning that at least 3/5 players from the roster used in the first qualifier must stay on the team to keep any points earned.
- All rosters will be locked at the start of the 2nd EU Open Qualifier. Roster changes are allowed until then. Any change must maintain 3/5 of the original roster to keep any points earned.
- Only free agents and players who did not participate in the 1st EU Open Qualifier may be added to a team.
- After the roster lock is in place, existing subs on the roster can be swapped to a starting position with no penalty.
- After the roster lock is in place, a team is still allowed to remove a player from their roster. However, you cannot add a new player to the roster as a result of this removal.
Substitution
Substitution in a registered roster is only allowed between matches. No substitution will be allowed between or in ongoing maps.
