This is a PC only competition
The minimum age to participate is 18 years old
Anyone found to be under 18 will be disqualified and banned from competition at least until they turn 18. Admins may verify your age by requesting a form of ID
The SI LCQ Challengermode specific ruleset applies to this tournament and any breach of those rules will be penalised
Format
- Single Bracket elimination Bo1, Finals Bo3
- Winner qualifies to the 'Final Match' for the subregion spot in SI LCQ Playoffs
Schedule
This tournament is played out on December 20th & 21st, 2025 at 13:00 AEDT:
- Check-in starts an hour before tournament starts
- Teams not ready at start time will not be entered in the event
As only one team per subregion can progress to the Playoff Phase, a qualification match will be held on Monday, 22nd December. The time for the match will be confirmed at a later date.
Quick Rules
- Tactical Timeout: 1 minute, 1 per team per match
- Community Cast: whitelisted casters only, cannot be declined
- POV Stream: allowed (180 seconds delay)
- Ping limit: 120ms
- Support: Any in-game issue that requires admin intervention needs to be brought in a Discord ticket immediately and not after the match is over (cosmetics, rehost issues, ping issues,...)
- Evidence: Any ticket opened on Discord related to rule breaching should be accompanied by tournament related evidence or will be disregarded by the admin team.
- Matches will not be delayed for any reason except for force majeure cases (i.e. worldwide server issues) and at the discretion of the admin team
Roster Rules
- Team rosters must consist of five players resident in the regions they participate in as defined in the BLAST R6 Rulebook (3.3.3.)
This means that players need to physically be present in the region they participate in when playing their matches (and at least covering the duration of qualifiers+playoffs)
A list of allowed countries for each region can be found in the BLAST R6 Rulebook (2.1.) but can also be consulted on the overview page of each BLAST R6 Qualifiers events
Any player found not to be resident in the region they participate in will be immediately disqualified and will face further suspension penalties
To ensure you’re considered “resident” of a particular region, please contact the admin team at least 72 hours BEFORE any qualifier event you wish to participate in following the protocol available in the SI LCQ Quals specific rulebook
Server Selection
- Admins reserve the right to select the default regional server if teams cannot agree to the server to use for a specific match. The default server for APL OCE is Australia East.
RH in Preparation Phase
- Before the start of the Preparation Phase
- Any technical issues, including the game and server, Player disconnect, and/or authorized software or hardware problems.
RH in Action Phase
- Up to the first thirty (30) seconds of the Action Phase and if no damage has been taken by any player.
- Player Observer-related issues.
- Player is unable to control or move the Operator.
- Game mechanic issues (E.g. shooting, reloading, movement, gadgets, or equipment).
Cosmetics
During BLAST R6 competitions’ official matches, Players can only use the battle dress uniforms and headgears listed below. All others battle dress uniforms and headgears are banned from use in competitive play:
- Operator’s default skins
- Pro R6Share teams branded cosmetics
- Six Major branded cosmetics
- Esports Programs cosmetics with the exception of the Thermite Legacy Set uniform and Headgear which is not allowed to be used.

Using any battle dress uniforms and/or headgears that are not permitted will result in a warning for first offense (if admins are informed immediately) and a round loss for any additional offenses (if admins already issued a previous warning in the same match).
Weapon skins, weapon charms and operator background cards are not subject to any restriction.
Drone skins and operator gadget skins are all forbidden in competitive play. Players can only use the default drone and operator gadget skins.
This will not be applied retroactively at the end of a map or a match, therefore this needs to be brought in a ticket immediately with evidence (clear in-game screenshot or video) the first time an unallowed skin is observed.
Anti-Cheat
The following applications are required for participation in the Open Qualifiers and any activity that restricts, prohibits or alters their use are expressly forbidden:
- BattlEye
- Monitor System Status (MOSS) download here
- MOSS must have the Rainbow Six Siege parameter, to do so you can follow these steps: "File" → "Parameters" → "Rainbow Six" and must be recording all matches in their entirety
- Please keep MOSS files created, unaltered, and stored in your computer for the next 14 days, as you may be required to hand those files for verification at any point during and after this tournament (only on the admin team request)
Substitution
No substitution will be allowed between or in ongoing maps except if both teams agree to it and can show the admin team such approval was given by both teams upon request.
Substitutions should be arranged before a match lobby starts, if you have any issue with substitution on the platform, please open a ticket on Discord BEFORE the "go to lobby" time is over or we cannot guarantee substitution will be approved.
