Our very own CS2 2v2 Tournament Rules:
- Team Composition:
Each team consists of 2 players.
Players must register their team prior to the tournament start.
No player can be a part of more than one team.
- Game Settings:
Matches will be played on Counter-Strike 2 (CS2).
Standard competitive rules and settings apply unless specified otherwise by the organizers.
- Tournament Format:
The tournament will follow a double-elimination format.
Matches will be best of one (Bo1).
Maps are banned before playing
T/CT Side are picked with Knife Round
- Match Rules:
Matches will be played in a 2v2 format.
Teammates must stay consistent throughout the tournament. No substitutions are allowed mid-match.
If a player disconnects during a match, the round will continue until completion. Reconnection is not allowed.
Deliberately leaving a match before its completion will result in disqualification for the leaving player's team.
- Player Conduct:
All participants are expected to maintain sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
Any form of cheating, exploiting, or unfair play will result in immediate disqualification.
Toxic behavior, harassment, or any other form of unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
Respect towards fellow competitors, organizers, and spectators is mandatory.
- Profile Picture Guidelines:
Players are not allowed to use copyrighted material for their profile pictures.
Profile pictures must be appropriate and non-offensive.
Organizers reserve the right to request changes to profile pictures if they are deemed inappropriate or in violation of copyright laws.
- Streaming and Broadcasting:
Organizers reserve the right to stream or broadcast any matches of the tournament.
Players may stream their matches but must adhere to the tournament schedule and rules.
Stream sniping or any form of unfair advantage gained through streams is strictly prohibited.
- Disputes and Rule Enforcement:
Any disputes regarding rules, match results, or player conduct should be reported to the tournament organizers immediately.
Organizers will have the final say in resolving disputes and enforcing the rules.
Participants are expected to comply with the decisions made by the organizers.
- Amendments and Updates:
Organizers reserve the right to amend or update the tournament rules as they see fit.
Participants will be notified of any changes prior to their implementation.
Connect in time: This rule is fairly straightforward, in order not to waste the competitor's time, we will require you to connect to a match on time. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
Final Notes:
By participating in the tournament, players agree to abide by these rules and any decisions made by the organizers. The primary goal of the tournament is to promote competitive gaming and sportsmanship among participants. These rules aim to ensure fair play, respect, and an enjoyable experience for all participants in the CS2 2v2 tournament while addressing concerns such as player conduct and copyrighted material usage.
